Privacy Policy

Overview

Pixel Patch ("the app") is a pixel-art colouring game developed by MH creative ("we", "us"). The app has no accounts and no sign-up, and we never ask for your name, email, or any other personal detail to play. This policy explains what the app handles on your device, and what our advertising and subscription partners receive.

Information we collect ourselves

None. We run no servers that receive data about you. Everything described below is handled either on your device, or by Apple, Google and RevenueCat.

Data stored on your device

The app saves your coloured pictures, which pictures you have unlocked, and your sound and vibration preferences — locally on your device only. That information never leaves your device, and deleting the app removes it.

Downloading pictures

New pictures and packs are downloaded from a static file host (GitHub Pages). These are ordinary web requests for image files: they carry no identifier of you or your device beyond what any web request carries, such as your IP address, and we receive no report of who downloaded what.

Advertising

Unless you subscribe, the app shows ads supplied by Google AdMob: a short video you choose to watch in order to unlock a picture, and an occasional full-screen ad when leaving a picture. To select and measure those ads, Google's Mobile Ads SDK may collect:

This data is tied to your device rather than to your identity, and it is not used to track you across other companies' apps or websites. The app never asks for permission to track, so Apple's advertising identifier is not available to it.

Google's own handling of this data is described in Google's privacy and terms.

Subscribers see no ads at all. For them the advertising SDK is not started, so nothing above is collected.

Choices in the European Economic Area, UK and Switzerland

If you are in one of these regions, the app shows a consent form, provided by Google's User Messaging Platform, where you choose what ad personalisation you allow. Declining does not limit the game in any way.

Purchases and subscriptions

The app offers an optional auto-renewing subscription, described in the Terms of Use. Payment is handled entirely by Apple, and we never see your payment details.

To know whether a subscription is active, the app uses RevenueCat, a purchase-verification service. RevenueCat receives the App Store receipt for the purchase and generates a random identifier for the installation; it is not linked to your name, email, or Apple Account. Their handling is described in RevenueCat's privacy policy.

Children

The app is suitable for all ages, and we collect no personal information from anyone, including children. It is not directed at children under 13.

Your rights

Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to show, correct, or delete. Requests concerning data held by Google or RevenueCat should be directed to them, and deleting the app removes everything stored on your device.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
